What is Sensory Play?
Sensory play is play that engages your child’s senses, touch, sight, sound, smell and taste, through hands-on exploration.
From squishing and scooping to pouring, mixing and splashing. Sensory play allows little ones to explore different textures, materials and experiences while having fun.
It encourages curiosity, creativity, fine motor skills, problem-solving and confidence, all while learning through play.
At Little Mess Makers, our sensory play sessions are designed for children 6 months to 8 years old, with activities suited to different ages and stages.
